Rubber grip feet on all three contact points and the vertical tube support provide extra stability. The ladder design allows for quick and easy adjustments. The three-post design allows you to get into position without the bench getting in your way. Grippy pads are comfortable yet firm so you can have the best, slip-resistant setup.
The benches have slightly different adjustment angles, and the AB-4100 has one more back angle. AB-3100: Back is 0, 30, 45, 60, 75, 90; seat is 0, 10, 20. AB-4100: Back is 0, 15, 30, 45, 60, 75, 85; seat is 0, 10, 20.
In addition, the AB-3100 has an open ladder design, whereas the AB-4100 offers a closed ladder design. The AB-4100 is designed for vertical storage, but the 3100 is not. The AB-4100 has a uniform 12” wide pad, while the AB-3100 has a pad that tapers at the top. And the AB-4100 has an upgraded handle and meets the IPF Height Standard.
For the best ladder movement, you may need to slightly loosen the bolts that attach the ladder to the back frame.
Easy! The bench comes mostly pre-assembled, requiring a minimal amount of time on your part upon delivery.

Overall, I am happy with this bench, with a few reservations. Shipping/packaging is great; everything was well protected from damage, and all necessary hardware/tools are included (although having your own socket wrench will make assembly much easier. ) The pad strikes a good balance between comfort and rigidity, and is very grippy, although its stitching is rather basic. The wheels are nice and big, making maneuverability simple. Construction feels solid, although the welds aren't the prettiest (I'll take "solid" welds over "pretty" for a weight bench any day!)
My reservations: the seat holes were drilled slightly crooked, leading to a +0. 5" pad gap on one side compared to the other side. While this is purely cosmetic, it is a bit of a hassle to have to sit slightly crooked to compensate, so that the back portion of the pad is properly aligned when I roll back onto it. Also, stability on carpet is only decent -- the three-post design leads to some wobble, especially in the more upright positions. I imagine this isn't an issue at all on a harder surface, but a slightly wider seat base would've helped a lot. By no means is it something that worries me; as long as I sit/lean straight back into the bench from the center, it is solid. Just don't go jumping into it from the side like a grade school desk chair.

It is a good bench for what it is. I also have a blackwidow. I bought the AB-3100 so my wife could move it easier.. She is totally happy, but my only gripe is it hard to stand up on its end "which they don't claim it will do" and it is just tiny bit tippy. Other than that happy wife happy life!

Packaged very well and arrived with no damage, scratches or dents. What a great bench at an awesome price. Very sturdy. Pretty cool you can choose a color. The fact that you can raise the seat and back rest to multiple settings makes this a great bench!
