Yes! Mount the brackets at different heights to allow the bar to roll safely away from you during a lift that was a little too heavy. For example, if you fail a squat, with offset safeties, the bar can roll away from your back and make it easier to get out from under the load.

These work great, the webbing is very heavy and they are quick and easy to adjust. You can put one side higher than the other so that the bar will not roll to the center as it lowers if you fail on your lift. The metal brackets that attach to the uprights are all the same and twist in from the left side (looking from the center out). They are not symmetrical like a set of J-hooks (One twists in from the left and one from the right). If you have an Athena on the right side, you will have to have the trolley below this strap bracket to remove or adjust it. If it is above, then the cable will be in the way (You could also grab the cable and pull it away from the upright). This is not any big drawback, just something to be aware of.
