 Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do I have to keep both pull-up bars on the rack at all times?

A: Most people will choose to mount only one pull-up bar at a time. We show both mounted in most of our pictures for display purposes only.

Q: Will I have to bolt this rack into the ground?

A: You will NOT need to bolt it into the ground. This rack is very stable on its own and if you add a couple bumper plates to the weight horns on the back it will be rock solid! This rack does feature pre-drilled bolt holes, if you choose to bolt the rack down anyway.

Q: Are the safeties, dip handles/band pegs, and J-Cups in included with the price of the rack or do they cost extra?

A: All of these items and both pull-up bars are included with the normal price of this squat rack.

Q: If I don't want the extra pull-up bar, J-Cups, Safeties etc. can I take them off my order to get a cheaper price?

A: The short answer is no. We only make one set of these items per rack so there is no way to offer discount for removing them that would be cost effective. On the upside, these little extras are extremely useful and I think you will certainly enjoy having them. Also the pricing for the high quality squat rack is extremely competitive even with the extras.

Q: Will Rep Fitness help me set up my sweet new V-2 Squat rack?

A: Yes! Let me clarify though; we will not come to your house and put it together for you but don't worry, it is pretty easy. If you are not the hands on type, we have some videos on our website showing you step by step exactly how to put it together. If you are still having trouble beyond that, then feel free to give us a call or shoot us an email and we will be glad to assist you further.

Perfect home gym. At 6'2" and 200 pounds , I can hang to full length and experience no sway during pulling or core exercises. Durable, quick delivery, easy assembly, and superior customer support.

I own Repp kettlebells, bar, plates, med ball, and slam. All have proved top rate.

    Thanks Team

I love this piece of equipment. Ordered on the 4th arrived on the 11th via RL freight. Boxes were a little beat up, but all the pieces were intact. I put this together in 25 minutes (thanks to the video). This thing is a tank, I am 6'3 220 lbs and it doesn't budge. It is well made. I looked at other brands, but Rep Fitness gave the most bang for the buck. Thank you!

Received my 94" V2 Squat Rack yesterday and within an hour had it put together. The rack is solid and has almost no movement when performing kipping pull-ups, ring exercises or dips. I have yet to place any weights on the "extra storage pins" but adding some will obviously make it that much more sturdy.

As for the delivery, its a good thing Rep Fitness (RF) sends out instructions. I called the delivery company when I saw my rack arrived in my state and found they had no plans on calling me to arrange a drop off time. Having called I was able to get a 30min. heads up. I suggest doing the same when you order yours.

My only disappointment were the scratches and paint chips on various parts the foot plates. All other pieces were perfect. Perhaps this is a packaging issue that can be addressed with some simple cardboard to cover those sensitive areas.

All in all I am very pleased with my purchase. I had been hesitant for quite some time on purchasing a rack and researched a lot. Now that I have it set up I could not be happier. With all the bells and whistles this rack comes with you'd be crazy not to want one.

Solid piece of equipment. Love it overall. The only improvement I could suggest is to offer a multi-angled pull up bar. Other than that, this thing offers considerable value compared to companies like Rogue, Elite, Penally, etc.

I've done my fair share of due diligence on racks, and have definitely scanned the market of different brands, price points, and accessories. This checked off a lot of boxes for me. This is definitely a value buy. The fact that this rack can handle the weight that it can, has the gauge steel that most of the high end racks have, and comes with all the accessories you'd want in a rack for a competitive price; makes this a no brainer for your garage/commercial gym. I weigh around 180 pounds, and have done strict & kipping pull-ups, benched 315, squat 365, dipped on the band pegs, all with no weight on the shoe horns, so this is a nice setup. I've rack pulled from the safety spotter arms with 425 pounds also, so this is definitely worth a look at the very least. I can't say I've seen a better buy for what you get here. I will keep this really simple. This piece of equipment is simply amazing! Amazing quality, simple to put together, and does not rock. I even purposely tried to make it rock with no weights on the horns. It barley moved. Not to mention their customer service is very helpful. I had some questions about the equipment and the billing. The manager matt quickly responded and resolved all my questions. That alone is price-less considering I am in ohio. I obviously can not take a quick drive to speak with a manager. Between the quality equipment and customer service, I will only buy from repfitness from now on!

  7. Solid. review by Ryan MaGrath on 4/9/2015

This rack is solid. Kipping pull ups and muscle ups are no problem on this rack - I weigh 195lbs. The j-cups are beefy, the rack itself is very heavy and the footprint makes it very solid. I have no problem benching in the rack with some weight on the back pegs. The safeities and j-cups both have a heavy rubber/plastic resin that seems to not wear. I shopped around, best deal by far.

I shopped around for quite awhile before deciding to purchase this rack for my garage gym. For the price this rack is outstanding! I assembled it by myself with ease in about an hour. The fit and finish are excellent and it is SOLID! I have no worries doing heavy squats using the safety spotter arms. Best value on the market today compared to the competition.
