Bumper Plates | Olympic Bumper Plates

Our bumper plates are great for CrossFit or Olympic lifting. You can save you a good deal of money buying the larger sets of Rep bumper plates which are priced better than almost any competing plate, or add an Olympic bar to a bumper weight set and save even more (located under Weight Sets)

If you're confused about which rubber bumper plates are right for you, check out our video reviews on every product page, or on our video reviews page. Some things to look for are low bounce (which means the bumper plates don't bounce high when dropped, which saves your shins and surrounding gear), strict weight tolerances (everything we carry has extremely strict tolerances), and durability. We test most of the bumper plates we carry to make sure we aren't carrying anything you would be disappointed to receive, and to help you get a better idea of what plates you'll like best. We are obviously biased since we sell our own brand of plates, but in our experience and based on our own testing, the Rep bumper plates (both Training and Elite) are as good or better than anything else on the market, so you won't be disppointed with our plates.

Bumper Plates for CrossFit

If you need the best bumper plates for CrossFit, check out our Rep Training plates, the Troy VTX bumper plates, or the Pendlay Econ v2 bumper plates. All offer high durability and low bounce, which is excellent for many of the high rep workouts that CrossFit incorporates. If you're particularly concerned with the durability of your 10 lb plates, we think ours are the best and our demo video shows this.

If you're unsure whether the black economy style plates or the color elite style plates are right for you, it's a question of your budget, your strength levels, and your main use of the plates. If you're doing CrossFit workouts, and you don't need to put more than 400 lbs on the bar, then the economy black plates will be fine for you. If you're doing just doing Olympic lifts, need more than 400 lbs on the bar, or just really like the look of the color plates, then it may be worth it to you to spend the money on the Elite plates. They last roughly twice as long as the Training plates, look cooler, and are more accurately weighted versus the claimed weight. But the price is roughly double, so it's up to you and your preference.

Bumper Plates for Olympic Lifting

If you're serious about Olympic lifting, the Rep Elite or the Pendlay Elite bumper plates are where you want to be. They are competition bumper plates, which means you can fit a lot of weight on the bar, and they're also tested to extremely tight weight tolerances to prevent uneven loading on the bar. Olympic bumper weight sets are some of the best bumper plates on the market and will last for quite a few years, which is why they each come with 5 year warranties. The Rep Elite plates are tested to 30,000+ drops before failure, so even under heavy commercial use they should last a very long time. For home use, they are an excellent investment and may be the last bumper plates you need to buy.
